TBL 6×44: What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
Previously on The Biggest Loser… THE SEA WAS ANGRY. So sayeth Mr Voiceover Man.
Tonight we find out if Sharlene’s okay after her tumble last night. The contestants arrive in Hobart at last and Fears Week gets even more serious.
There’s abseiling off buildings and running up hills with blizzards blowing over them and all the usual fun stuff we associate with a trip away from “home”.
As the episode picks up they’re still battling their way through Storm Bay. They can’t turn around and go back, they have to keep on going.
Oh, wait, this is still replay footage. Sharlene just hit the deck again. Ow!

TBL 6×43: Chicken on a raft, chicken on a raft, hiiii-yoooo, chicken on a raft!
Previously on The Biggest Loser the contestants prepared themselves for the transplantation of a second head onto their bodies when they arrive in Tasmania.
Sailing from Sydney to Hobart is one of the toughest challenges in Australian sport and so naturally they’ve decided to put 6 people who’ve only been training for two months on a boat and do it.
Will Shannan and Michelle drown to death?
Find out tonight!
Sharlene’s still raving about how awesome it is to be sailing on the boat as the episode starts up.
Lots of time for reflection as the boat cruises along. They’ll know who they really are when they get to Hobart!
TBL 6×42: A Fatty Went To Sea, Sea, Sea, To See What He Could See, See, See…
Sunday night on The Biggest Loser I CRIED AND CRIED AND CRIED as Lara was sent home at Elimination. :-(
Tonight on The Biggest Loser we find out how crushed Shannan is by the loss of Lara. Then the contestants, minus Lara, will start sailing from Sydney to Hobart. Without Lara.
Lara Lara Lara.
Okay, I’m done.
Before they set sail we’re going to have a revisit with the footage from the trainer’s stay at the homes of the contestants. Should be horrifying to watch, can’t wait!
Loungeroom sees Leigh looking pretty down. The trainers turn up and Tiff’s very excited to see Meg’s still there. Shannan’s shattered to see Lara gone.
Lara was the one who got them into the competition in the first place and she’s been their rock throughout, keeping them going.
Leigh says he couldn’t get many words out to her at Elimination but he thinks their bond is stronger than ever after everything they’ve been through at Camp. He loves her even more than he did before. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Biggest Loser: Best Transformations Tonight
Just a reminder that there’s a “Very Special Episode” of Biggest Loser tonight featuring some of the best transformations of past contestants.
I’m not planning on writing a recap for the episode. Am expecting it will just be a series of short catch up bits with some of the success stories.
People don’t want to hear about the failures like David Hilyander who’re still morbidly obese to this day or Chris who piled the weight back on after starving his way to victory. They want fluffy feel good stories and that’s what they’ll get.
Should be an entertaining hour of TV. Or you could watch Mythbusters on SBS. These are the only two options that are acceptable. :-)
TBL 6×41: Jacob’s Ladder wraps up, heart crushing Elimination and a catchup with Damien
Friday night on The Biggest Loser we left Joe and Leigh battling it out in the Jacob’s Ladder challenge.
Tonight we find out which of them lasts longer.
Also, Greg’s week at Camp comes to a close. Has he learned enough to survive on the outside?
Probably not!
Later in the episode it’ll be Weigh-In and Elimination time again. Joe has Immunity and if Leigh wins the Challenge he ought to be safe with the 1kg advantage…
Joe and Leigh are still going at the 2 hour 20 minutes mark. Shannan says that holding a position like that for more than 2 hours is insane by itself.
Leigh and Joe are still going at the 2 hour 45 minute mark, too. They’re up over 7,000 feet of climbing their tilted ladders now. Makes me sore just thinking about it!
Shannan says they’ve climbed the equivalent of Mount Kosciusko, Australia’s tallest mountain. Awesome!
