Joe Challenor

Age: 40
Goal weight: 75kg
Lives: Queensland
Height: 186cm
Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Occupation: Labourer

Though the youngest of the Challenor brothers’ appearance is deceiving, Joe was formerly an elite cyclist with a lean 7% body fat. His weight may have drastically escalated since he gave up the sport, but that hasn’t dulled his thirst for competition, and one of his Biggest Loser ambitions is targeting a dramatic comeback.

Suffering from sleep apnoea so acute that he requires a machine to regulate his breathing, Joe appreciates the potentially tragic consequences of not changing, and fast, and endeavours to set a better example for his children.

Far from one to fear the punishing toil that accompanies being a Bigger Loser contestant, Joe’s attitude is admirably straightforward – “Bring it on!” – and he plans to support his brothers Damien and Greg, and nephew Nathaniel all the way.

    Hi Joe
I am amazed at your weight loss, you should be very proud! In regards to jungodude he or she is clearly not watching the same show as everybody else. It was a clear deal made – lowest percentage goes up for elimination. The westren family (especially Lara) are clearly white anting everyone on that show and are playing a very clever mind game. As for that little bitch Nathaniel, back stabbing family members sucks, I’m glad he’s out of the show I’m sick of his pathetic whinging – 19 or not, stop crying and grow up! Jungodude pull your head in!

The Moons had made the exact same deal – lowest percentage goes up – and Sarah was prepared to honour the deal. Yet compassion won in the end and the person who needed to stay the least was the Moon who faced elimination.

Joe should have been the one to face elimination every time the Challenors have been under the Line. He has an athletic background and could unquestionably do it on the outside once he had that initial guidance at Camp.
Yet instead we’ve seen Greg and Damien both go up before Joe, with Damien luckily getting a very contrived lifeline back into the game. Now this week Joe uses the contrived “lowest percentage” excuse not to put himself up.

He’s an arsehole and he’s weak, simple as that.

Hi Joe u r a gr8 contestent on the biggest loser maybe one day we could meet

  • Jungodude

Exactly what Mythor said. Nathaniel is still trying to get into the habit of exercise, whereas Joe can easily do it on the outside. I just think he’s too competitive, and because of that, his family pays the price.

    Joe,
I did not want to be part of your family.
You put your brother out today. For me, you are the worse person in the universe.

I hope you feel like an idiot now! He has stepped on everyone in his family because he is competitive. He gave the 1kg advantage to Rebecca & that sent damien home. All he can say is ” I don’t know why” Well I know why, Damien is a threat & rather than think about the benefits of him staying longer to save his life, you were thinking about winning. You are despicable. Even during the contest Joe says to the camera ” I didnt want to encourage damien because I didn’t want him to win”. Realy nice.damien should have insisted that nathaniiel stay because he needed it more mentally. But JOe is selfish , I hope his whole family have seen him for who he really is. Blood is thicker than water. I’d be ashamed to be related to you

Nathaniel has done very well on the outside. Perhaps he didn’t need to be in the house that badly after all.
