Nathaniel Challenor

Age: 18
Goal weight: 80kg
Height: 194cm
Lives: Goonellabah, NSW
Marital status: Single
Children: None
Occupation: Works at KFC

The youngest competitor in this year’s Biggest Loser at 18-years-old, Nathaniel can’t recall a time when he was thin, only the feeling of alienation that stemmed from his being bigger than the other kids at school.

Nathaniel‘s emotional wellbeing took a devastating hit when his older brother, who suffered from cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy, passed away a few years ago. Distraught, the younger sibling was robbed not just of a dear friend, but also the motivation to do anything but eat.

Presently working at the KFC that his mother manages, Nathaniel is tired of people making flippant associations between his job and his weight, and with the help of his uncles is determined to take control of his life and realise the potential he’s squandered for far too long.

people like your uncles are not people who you should associate with. had a bad vibe from the since they got rid of greg. they dont have time for anyone but themselves. damien who is so fat its beyond scarey gave you the look at one elimination that only meant fuck off nathaniel. not caring and his body language was the same as joes. i think there just jealous you are doing so well and have your health and youth on your side. go Nathaniel wish you all the best but the red team totally doesnt get it. thugs is what i think they are sorry but you look like youve been totally affected by these uncles and have now seen what the rest of us do. like they say leopards dont change their spots. klare

In the end, Nathaniel was a punk.

He didn’t want to be a man.  He pouted when he was eliminated, even though the family agreed to go with the lower loser for the week being put up.

He disassociated himself from his uncles during the game and was the WORST team player in game history. Perhaps growing up overweight he never actually played team sport so he had no idea how to behave.

Ultimately, he lost a lot of weight and he looks great – but his immaturity has not been overcome and I hope he gets professional help. He desperately needs it.

He’s still a guy who is going to get bullied … not because he’s fat, but because he’s a jerk.

Good on ya Nathaniel! Do you know that name means “Gift of God?”  and He never makes a mistake, so He didn’t with you, just figure it out.  Keep working at it down under. Go NSW!!

In the end, Nathaniel was a …  was … no IS STILL very brave guy who shouldn’t accept mean name-calling.  africawanumba has been in emergency food humanitarian aid for years, and would never make fun of anyone making hard effort to get control of nutrition and personal health. also africawanumba likes AU peeps so much supported Australian Red Cross in 2012floods this year.
