This year’s amazing contestants are all powered by a host of different motives, but every mother will easily connect with Munnalita’s desire to shed kilos. The highly creative hairdresser already enjoys a happy marriage with the man of her dreams but has been told that she must lose weight to be successful on the IVF programme where she’s made constant futile attempts to become pregnant. To complete her life and begin a family, this emotional character must dramatically change her body.

Another motivating factor is Munnalita’s dream of entering the fashion industry, which is infamously image-conscious. Only a twist of fate denied Munnalita an early opportunity to realise her huge potential as a designer. Perhaps, when her need for children has been fulfilled, the frustrated hairdresser will turn back time and make her dream job a reality.

With her sights set on a large family and exciting career, expect to see a determined individual when Munnalita enters The Biggest Loser house.

This woman is by far the most annoying person on TV this century. Does ever sentance have to end in a high pitch??
    • biggest loser fan
I agree wtih Carl Anthony. The way she speaks does not give Australia a good representation over seas. She is way to sooky for me. Sure she wants a family and needs to lose weight, i'm going through the exact same thing but i'm not sooking and winging all the time. Just go on and do it Munnalita, WITHOUT ALL THE SOOKS. I dont see her staying in the house for much longer

if only marty and greg (?) had have teamed up with alex to get rid of her at the first elimination... what would have happened with a tied vote? does anyone actually know, or is it all speculation?
    • The other team chooses in the event of a tied vote!
    • carly the crocodile
last year, didn't a tied vote mean that the one who had lost the least percentage got voted out?

i also am certain that they had the yellow line thing happening before merging the teams, because harry was safe from the FAT alliance until the week that he fell below the yellow line. also, as soon as the team merged, the FAT alliance was the first to be picked off for their previous vindictiveness. that's my recollection, anyway.
    • I believe that's how it worked last year, yes, but either Ajay or one of the contestants said on the show that if the elimination was tied, other team would choose.
Of course with the way they keep stuffing with the rules, anything could happen!

They might've had the yellow line before merging, though I don't think they did, but it definitely wasn't in from the start.
I'm hoping it'll make its triumphant return for the next weigh-in!

Well I don't really like her? Particularly the way every sentence she says sounds like a question? It annoys me how she puts in little effort, I'm actually hoping she puts on weight at the next weigh in so she can be exposed as the lazy fraud she is.

i'm starting to like munnalita a bit now, probably since the last weigh in, but more since the mars bar incident.

i actually think she has a fast metabolism, judging by her weight loss. she is a skinny person trapped in a fat chocoholic's body!

i can understand where she's coming from with the two mars bars. doing that occasionally can't hurt. also, if she has a fast metabolism as i suspect, then maybe two mars bars at once is reasonable. having just one would make her want to have more sooner rather than later. on the other hand, she might develop a "tolerance" and start to "need" three, five, ten mars bars to be satisfied. in any case, i don't see anything wrong with her having a little pig out on chocolate just once a week, provided she's exercising and eating healthily all through the week. and provided her "chocoholism" isn't literally as bad as alcoholism.
    • The problem is that it's that sort of caving in to temptation that got her into her current situation in the first place. Sure, it's two Mars bars this time, but what about the next time she has the chance to have one? Or the next time? Or the next time?
She badly needs to learn to just say no.

Chocolate is fine as a treat, but two is overdoing it. Even the advertising jingle only says *A* Mars a day. ;-)

five is overdoing it. i don't think two is overdoing it - so long as it is on a monthly or weekly basis, and in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle. if she prefers to have two mars bars once a month instead of one mars bar twice a month, then just let her be. hell, i don't see a problem with her having the equivalent of ten mars bars once a year if she loves a good pig out! it's just a matter of consciously deciding when and how much is ok to have.

i'm speaking as a beer drinker. i feel i'm entitled to my one slab of light beer each week. when or if i start to get fat, then i'll think about cutting down.

i honestly do think that marsbarlita has a fast metabolism like me, hence her surprisingly good weight loss, and if i were eating chocolate in the quantities she had been, i could be just as fat as her. i don't eat junk very often, but when i do i like to have a generous quantity. i think munnalita is the same.
