And the loser of the super challenge is…

Some basic calorie mathematics can reveal who it is that will be going home on Sunday, after losing the Super Challenge.

If you don’t want to know in advance, don’t read on!

Michelle will be going home. A 600ml bottle of Fanta runs above 300 calories and everything else is less.

If someone else wants to run through the exact figures, go right ahead. But that’s your result, right there.

And I’m oh so happy!

Yeah, that looks about right. I couldn't be stuffed going back through and typing them up. I figured people mostly just care about the result anyway! :D

And yeah, I tried to be sad that the last Black Team member will be going home. But I just can't do it. They got what was coming to them!

I thought the muesli at first too, but when you think about it it's not so surprising. The difference with the muesli is that it's mostly "good" energy, because it has all the fruits and grains and so on in it, whereas fries is just spuds, oil and salt.
It's a little bit tricky in that regard and I think it was by design. I think they were hoping to catch contestants (and viewers!) out by putting an obviously very healthy option in there that is actually very close to the highest calories.
Whether they'll explain why muesli having a lot of calories isn't a bad thing is anyone's guess though!

Cheers for that. I had guessed as much.

I hate this cliffhanger thing they have done with the Friday night challenge. May as well not watch it and get the highlights and result on Sunday.

Yeah, it's driving me nuts. I'd rather they move the Challenge to Thursday night so they have an hour and can resolve it in one night. Which would also conveniently leave The Walk without a home! ;)
I still enjoy watching the Challenges, because I enjoy watching them struggle through it... but the delayed gratification is growing tiresome!

Reading the recap is recommended regardless, naturally!

You would think for $50,000 she would have spent some time reading the calorie guide!!
The Fanta wasn't rocket science and she had 3 to choose from.....hello
You almost wish it was 'the weakest link' and the red headed bird got to tell her goodbye!
Not sorry to see her go at all....Bob and his "Michelle could be the first female biggets loser" obviuosly hadn't checked the Ozzies weight lose!

I don't know how anyone could possibly think a sugary fizzy drink could be a good choice. I'd've at least thought about it some more. But I guess she might've thought about it for 20 minutes and we just didn't see that. Never know I suppose.
I think there'll be a pretty even split between people glad to see the back of her and people crushed it wasn't someone else. Like Cosi!

It depends on the poll. When they close, everyone can just see the results, rather than getting a non-working vote thingy.
Open polls it shouldn't happen on, but it might mess up for a variety of very complicated reasons. ;)
I'm not real happy with the current poll system but I don't have time to try and do much about it just at the moment. Most of the polls are old now anyway. I really should make a new one! :)
